negativity, annoyance, and stupidity: solutions.

When Gus got home later on the previously mentioned "most annoying day ever" I asked him how could we make his morning better.  I spoke in a calm, loving, supportive voice (I had been practicing).  He said (in his typical deadpan) (and I quote)  "well.... one thing that would work, but I don't think you are going to do it,  would be if you  feed the boys outSIDE."  He is referring to his big brothers here.  (The bane of his existence.)
